The Botox and dermal filler training courses are formatted especially for medical professionals, including Physicians (MD &DO), Registered Nurses (RN), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Dentists (DDS & DMD), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN/LPN).
The Microdermabrasion training is formatted for aestheticians looking to gain experience in medical related procedures. Medical Providers supervising the aestheticians will also find this course helpful. This seminar is also open to medical professionals, including Physicians (MD&DO), Registered Nurses (RN), Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/ LPN).
*PLEASE NOTE (for all seminars): Although the above professionals are eligible to participate in VAI training courses, VAI strongly recommends that participants contact their state licensing board to determine regulations specific to their state. Acceptance into an VAI courses does not construe authority to perform procedures subsequent to training.
The amount of hand-on training is dependent upon the number of participants as well as the number and needs of the models. VAI cannot guarantee a specific number of injections during Botox and other training courses or the number of models who sign up for the courses.
There are no deadlines for registration, but all classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some classes, like our Botox training course fill quickly, so it is advised to register as soon as possible. Participant spots are reserved upon receipt of payment.
The limit of applicants accepted per classroom is 10-12 maximum. This is to ensure that the applicants get the most time with the instructor and also with the models.
**VAI continues to follow COVID precautions and seating may be modified during the course.
All of our instructors are independent contractors who perform these procedures in their own practice. Instructors include Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with varying backgrounds (family practice, internal medicine, dermatology, etc.), and Registered Nurses.
There are no national requirements for certification, however, all medical professionals should check with their malpractice carrier to determine if they have specific requirements. VAI recommends to all applicants to check with the medical board and nursing board in their state for requirements and scopes of practice.
Registration Fees for the Botox training courses including Botox/Dermal Filler, and Advanced Botox/Dermal Filler, includes program activities, lunch and syllabus materials. Registration Fees for the Microdermabrasion with PRP seminar includes program activities, all day beverage service and syllabus materials. Certificates of Completion will be issued upon completion of workshop.
AMET’s Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be received at least 15 days prior to the start of the training course and are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received in writing by email (vivaaestheticinstitute@hotmail.com) or by certified U.S. Mail (2500 E. Price Rd. Suite 500 Brownsville, TX 78521). No refunds will be made for requests received after that time. However, if you must cancel within the 15-day period, and you give at least a 24-hour notice, you will have 6 months from the date of the seminar to transfer your registration fee for another date. If you do not give at least 24-hour notice you are considered a no-show, and no refund or transfer of registration fees will be made. If you do not transfer your registration fees for another date by the end of the 6 month mark from the original seminar, no refund will be given. Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made.
There is no time limit in how many times you can take our courses. We do have different established students that retake courses as refreshers or to meet other injectors and learn on new techniques.
Our courses are affordable and time friendly that make it available for applicants to take them without interrupting their current work schedules.
You will receive a certification of completion every time you take a course at VAI.
